"Mounthing system for folded seam roofs
Long strip roofs are predominantly found in more luxurious homes and utility buildings. There are different types of standing seam roofs, such as a single strip, double strip and Kalzip roofs. Standing seam roofs are recognizable by their distinctive raised edges. The materials that standing seam roofs are made of also vary. Common materials are zinc, alu-zinc, aluminium and copper. It is possible to place solar panels on every standing seam roof by using the ClickFit system."

MATERIALS AND INSTALLING

"Assembly
The ClickFit system is attached to the roof by means of standing seam or Kalzip clamps. The clamps are attached to the standing seam (raised edge).
The mounting rail gets screwed onto the standing seam clamps. Because standing seam roofs can significantly expand and contract because of changes in temperature, it is recommended not to make the solar panel areas too big in order to avoid any damages to the roof.
The solar panels are hung onto the mounting rail by using the installation aid, so that the solar panels can be easily slid into the right place. The solar panels are subsequently screwed onto the mounting rail by means of the mounting screws and universal clamps. There is already a special screw thread in the mounting rail that simplifies the screwing in of the solar panels.                                                         Materials and tools: The ClickFit assembly system is suitable for all brands and types of solar panels. The system is made of durable and high quality aluminium and stainless steel components.
There are special black clamps and caps for black solar panels that are placed over the assembly profile and the mounting screws. This gives the solar panels and the assembly system a complete black finish.
There is only a 10 mm socket wrench needed for the assembly of the solar panels."
